Returns & Refunds Policy

At The RedShed – Melbourne’s Mower Centre, we are committed to operating in full compliance with Australian Consumer Law (ACL) as outlined by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).

Australian Consumer Law (ACL)

If your product is faulty, not fit for purpose, or does not match the description, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund as required by law. We abide by all ACCC laws regarding refunds and consumer rights.

Change of Mind Returns

  • Change-of-mind returns and refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis, including how much time has passed since purchase and the condition of the product (e.g., whether it has been used).
  • A flat 10% refund fee applies to all approved change-of-mind returns. This fee helps cover administrative, processing, and payment gateway charges, as well as the re-stocking and inspection of the product.
  • A flat 3% refund fee applies to all approved change-of-mind online sales. This applies to goods that have not been sent out or picked up. The 3% charge covers payment gateway charges and administrative costs.
  • All refund requests must be submitted in writing to Marketing@TheRedShed.com.au.
  • Any additional costs incurred during the refund process may be passed on to the customer.
  • Approval and specific conditions for refunds are determined at the company’s discretion.

Products Not in Stock

If the product you have purchased is not in stock, we will contact you to confirm if you would like an alternative product to suit your needs or if you prefer that we source the product for you from a supplier. If neither option is suitable, we will issue a refund to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Refunds are typically processed within 3–5 business days from the time the refund is issued, depending on your payment provider.
